Economic Growth and Employment creation Programme in Mali (PACEPEP) (DANIDA)

The PACEPEP activities focus on strengthening the competitiveness of Malian private sector actors within an enabling environment through the provision of business development services, training and facilitation of linkages to the financial sector.

The Economic Growth and Employment creation Programme in Mali (PACEPEP) is funded by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DANIDA). The programme intervenes in the regions of Mopti, Segou, Sikasso and Bamako. The PACEPEP has three components which are implemented within the framework of a number of selected value chains. The project activities focus on strengthening the competitiveness of Malian private sector actors within an enabling environment through the provision of business development services, training and facilitation of linkages to the financial sector. Furthermore, public-private dialogue is facilitated with the view to create a more conducive business environment. In close cooperation with private and public sector stakeholders, the project works to identify and construct a wide range of infrastructure projects with the aim to promote productive activities and market access. One important element of the programme is to support skills development required for private sector driven growth.
